This report provides a perspective of the landscape of the 39 ICWA Tribal-State Agreements existing during 2015 and 2016. The purpose of this report is to provide a detailed analysis of these current ICWA Tribal-State Agreements. The analysis does not include an exhaustive account of the interface between state child welfare laws as those laws relate (or fail to relate) to ICWA. Section II will list each Agreement organized by state and provide a summary of any unique provisions or information concerning a particular Agreement.
