The U.S. Department of the Interior released this Federal Indian Boarding School Initiative Investigative Report on May 11, 2022. This initiative aimed to identify the locations of Federal boarding school facilities, the names and tribal affiliations of the children who were placed there, and the locations of marked or unmarked burial sites of children that attended the schools.
