“This webinar will focus on the resilience and strengths of tribal communities through the use of culture. A brief look at historical trauma, cultural protective factors, and evidence-based factors will be discussed. Grantees will share their knowledge on how they are utilizing cultural strategies to inform their community’s awareness of the issues. Objectives: To discuss historical trauma as a factor that has diluted the resilience of native peoples. To increase awareness of how Native Connection grantees are using cultural revitalization in their Strategic Action Plan (SAP). To increase awareness regarding cultural based evidence and research.”
